Сегодня национально озабоченные депутаты Рижской думы планируют принять решение о сносе двух памятников - герою войны 1812 года Барклаю де Толли и русским воинам, погибшим на Луцавсале в 1701 году. Партия "Честь служить Риге" (ЧСР) уже заявила, что воздержится от запланированного на сегодня голосования Рижской думы.
Такое решение партия приняла после призыва историков и экспертов Совета по памятникам. Они написали обращение в Рижскую думу с просьбой отложить вопрос о сносе постамента Барклаю-де-Толли и памятного знака на Луцавсале до уточнения данных о культурно-историческом статусе объектов и по “этическим соображениям”.
"Учитывая, что проект решения готовился без учета мнений историков, не проводилось никаких научных исследований и не было обсуждения между профессиональными экспертами отрасли, решение о демонтаже памятников в Риге не было всесторонне оценено", - заявил глава правления ЧСР Олег Буров.
Честно говоря, не совсем понял, как отказ от голосования спасет памятники, но буду следить за ситуацией.

He said that since his platform does not have the capacity to check all channels, it may restrict some in Russia and Ukraine "for the duration of the conflict," but then reversed course hours later after many users complained that Telegram was an important source of information. What distinguishes the app from competitors is its use of what's known as channels: Public or private feeds of photos and videos that can be set up by one person or an organization. The channels have become popular with on-the-ground journalists, aid workers and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who broadcasts on a Telegram channel. The channels can be followed by an unlimited number of people. Unlike Facebook, Twitter and other popular social networks, there is no advertising on Telegram and the flow of information is not driven by an algorithm.
