Вообще, удивительное дело весь этот набатейский карго-культ. Египтяне вон уже после Древнего Царства стали хорошенько прятать гробницы, поскольку к эпохе Среднего царства стало очевидно: всё это добро будет разворовано и извандалено в первый же династический кризис. К I веку Египет был уже римской провинцией, а набатейцы ещё ничего не поняли.
