رصد خانه روبین (Vera C. Rubin Observatory) یک رصدخانه اپتیکی، مجهز به تلسکوپی با قابلیت پوشش عمیق و سریع، و زاویه دید وسیع در کشور شیلی هست که برای مساحی آسمان شب طراحی شده و بطور متوسط هر سه شب کل آسمان قابل مشاهده رو تصویربرداری میکنه. تلسکوپ این رصد خانه قراره ۱۰ سال به صورت مداوم این تصویربرداری رو انجام بده و در نهایت بزرگترین فیلم متحرک آسمان رو تولید کنه. رصدخانهٔ روبین بزرگترین دوربین(سنسور) ساخت بشر رو داره که به اندازه‌ی یک ماشین سواریه.
