'course you didn't and I definitely didn't ask just for fun.
Projects are an inherent part of my courses as they are a really good chance to do the following:
1️⃣ Have the students use the target language in a relatively natural way.
2️⃣ Have them practice their research skills which are vital for any person nowadays.
3️⃣ As a follow-up from the previous point, allow your students to practice their critical thinking skills (they need to find relevant sources of information, don't they?).
4️⃣ Let them find out some new information and share their newfound knowledge with others.
A lot of benefits, really. Sounds like a dream come true (well, to me). Why doesn't everybody do them then?
I cannot claim to be the leading expert on projects, but I can share how I organize such work. Shall I?

Also in the latest update is the ability for users to create a unique @username from the Settings page, providing others with an easy way to contact them via Search or their t.me/username link without sharing their phone number. A Russian Telegram channel with over 700,000 followers is spreading disinformation about Russia's invasion of Ukraine under the guise of providing "objective information" and fact-checking fake news. Its influence extends beyond the platform, with major Russian publications, government officials, and journalists citing the page's posts. At the start of 2018, the company attempted to launch an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) which would enable it to enable payments (and earn the cash that comes from doing so). The initial signals were promising, especially given Telegram’s user base is already fairly crypto-savvy. It raised an initial tranche of cash – worth more than a billion dollars – to help develop the coin before opening sales to the public. Unfortunately, third-party sales of coins bought in those initial fundraising rounds raised the ire of the SEC, which brought the hammer down on the whole operation. In 2020, officials ordered Telegram to pay a fine of $18.5 million and hand back much of the cash that it had raised. Friday’s performance was part of a larger shift. For the week, the Dow, S&P 500 and Nasdaq fell 2%, 2.9%, and 3.5%, respectively.
