Эту церковь построили в 1907 году староверы-беспоповцы Поморского согласия. Работу доверили архитектору Илье Бондаренко, который до этого был помощником у Шехтеля и проектировал здания для Мамонтова, и дали ему полную свободу.
В итоге вышла совершенно удивительная церковь из железобетонных конструкций, в которой сочетаются жесткие элементы псковской архитектуры и неожиданные решения – например двускатная крыша колокольни сделана так, что выглядит как избушка на курьих или не на курьих, но точно на ножках. #шедевры_модерна
