Участники патриотической акции «Поезд памяти и славы» посетили памятные места в Тамбовской области, связанные с Великой Отечественной войной. В состав делегации вошли не только ветераны Великой Отечественной войны и ветераны Вооруженных Сил, но и ветераны правоохранительных органов и локальных военных конфликтов, ветераны труда и деятели культуры.

Участники делегации в Тамбове возложили цветы к мемориалу «Вечный огонь», подножию памятника Зое Космодемьянской, посетили краеведческий музей и пообщались с активистами местной ветеранской организацией. Одна из главных тем встречи ветеранов — подготовка к 80-летию Великой Победы.
