محمدامین مهدوی شایسته، زندانی سیاسی که در زندان اوین نگهداری می‌شد، هفته گذشته برای اجرای حکم اعدام به انفرادی قزل‌حصار منتقل شد. به گزارش «سازمان حقوق بشر ایران»، این زندانی ۲۶ ساله پس از بازداشت در پاییز ۱۴۰۲ تحت فشار و شکنجه نیروهای امنیتی به همکاری با اسرائیل اعتراف کرده است. همین اعترافات، مبنای اتهامات زیادی مانند «اهانت به مقدسات اسلام» در کیفرخواست او شده که مهم‌ترین آنها «ماده ۶ قانون مقابله با اقدامات اسرائیل علیه صلح و امنیت» است. بر اساس همین گزارش، پرونده محمدامین مهدوی آنقدر خالی از ادله است که «یک خشاب خالی اسلحه کمری» و «یک افشانه فلفل» به عنوان نگهداری اسلحه غیرمجاز برای اثبات «همکاری با دشمن» مورد استناد قرار گرفته است!

What distinguishes the app from competitors is its use of what's known as channels: Public or private feeds of photos and videos that can be set up by one person or an organization. The channels have become popular with on-the-ground journalists, aid workers and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who broadcasts on a Telegram channel. The channels can be followed by an unlimited number of people. Unlike Facebook, Twitter and other popular social networks, there is no advertising on Telegram and the flow of information is not driven by an algorithm. He floated the idea of restricting the use of Telegram in Ukraine and Russia, a suggestion that was met with fierce opposition from users. Shortly after, Durov backed off the idea. Official government accounts have also spread fake fact checks. An official Twitter account for the Russia diplomatic mission in Geneva shared a fake debunking video claiming without evidence that "Western and Ukrainian media are creating thousands of fake news on Russia every day." The video, which has amassed almost 30,000 views, offered a "how-to" spot misinformation. The original Telegram channel has expanded into a web of accounts for different locations, including specific pages made for individual Russian cities. There's also an English-language website, which states it is owned by the people who run the Telegram channels. These entities are reportedly operating nine Telegram channels with more than five million subscribers to whom they were making recommendations on selected listed scrips. Such recommendations induced the investors to deal in the said scrips, thereby creating artificial volume and price rise.
