В день старта одновременно поженились более 150 пар из разных регионов страны. Целую неделю на Главной уличной сцене выставки будут проходить театрализованные шествия, концерты и представления. Каждый день фестиваля посвятят одному из этапов свадебного обряда.
Мероприятие стало самой массовой свадьбой, организованной столичными ЗАГСами. Молодожёны получили в подарок огонь Всероссийского семейного очага.
