دعاء مجرّب، روي عن أنس قال: قال رسول الله (صلّى الله عليه وآله وسلم) من دعا بهذا الدعاء في كل صباح ومساء وكّل الله تعالى به أربعا من الملائكة يحفظونه من بين يديه ومن خلفه وعن يمينه وشماله وكان في أمان الله عزَّ وجلَّ، وإن حأولت الخلائق من الجن والانس أن تضره ماتمكّنت وهو هذا الدعاء:
بِسْمِ الله الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحيمِ بِسْمِ اللّهِ خَيْرِ الاسَّماء بِسْمِ الله رَبِّ الارْضِ وَالسَّماء بِسْمِ الله الَّذي لايَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ سَمُّ وَلا داءٌ بِسْمِ الله أَصْبَحْتُ وَعلى الله تَوَكَّلْتُ بِسْمِ الله عَلى قَلْبي وَنَفْسي بِسْمِ الله عَلى ديني وَعَقْلي بِسْمِ الله عَلى أَهْلي وَمالي بِسْمِ الله عَلى ما أَعْطاني رَبِّي بِسْمِ اللّهِ الَّذي لايَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيٌ في الارضِ وَلا في السَّماء وَهُوَ السَّميعُ العَليمُ. الله الله رَبّي لا أُشْرِكُ بِهِ شَيْئاً الله أكْبَرُ الله أكْبَرُ وَأعَزُّ وَأجَلُّ مِمّا أَخافُ وَأَحْذَرُ عَزَّ جارُكَ وَجَلَّ ثَناؤكَ وَلا إلهَ غَيْرُكَ، اللّهُمَّ إِنِّي أعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ نَفْسي وَمِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ سُلْطانٍ شَديدٍ وَمِنْ شَرِّ كُلَّ جَبّارٍ عَنيدٍ وَمِنْ شَرِّ قَضاء السوءِ وَمِنْ كُلِّ دابَّةٍ أَنْتَ آخِذٌ بِناصيَتِها، إنَّكَ عَلى صِراطٍ مُسْتَقيمٍ وأَنْتَ عَلى كُلُّ شَيٍ حَفيظٍ. إنَّ وَلِييَّ الله الَّذي نَزَّلَ الكِتابَ وَهوَ يَتَوَلّى الصّالِحينَ فَإنْ تَوَلّوا فَقُلْ حَسْبِيَ الله لا إلهَ إِلاّ هوَ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَهوَ رَبُّ العَرْشِ العَظيمِ.

Artem Kliuchnikov and his family fled Ukraine just days before the Russian invasion. At its heart, Telegram is little more than a messaging app like WhatsApp or Signal. But it also offers open channels that enable a single user, or a group of users, to communicate with large numbers in a method similar to a Twitter account. This has proven to be both a blessing and a curse for Telegram and its users, since these channels can be used for both good and ill. Right now, as Wired reports, the app is a key way for Ukrainians to receive updates from the government during the invasion. Two days after Russia invaded Ukraine, an account on the Telegram messaging platform posing as President Volodymyr Zelenskiy urged his armed forces to surrender. Given the pro-privacy stance of the platform, it’s taken as a given that it’ll be used for a number of reasons, not all of them good. And Telegram has been attached to a fair few scandals related to terrorism, sexual exploitation and crime. Back in 2015, Vox described Telegram as “ISIS’ app of choice,” saying that the platform’s real use is the ability to use channels to distribute material to large groups at once. Telegram has acted to remove public channels affiliated with terrorism, but Pavel Durov reiterated that he had no business snooping on private conversations. Telegram has gained a reputation as the “secure” communications app in the post-Soviet states, but whenever you make choices about your digital security, it’s important to start by asking yourself, “What exactly am I securing? And who am I securing it from?” These questions should inform your decisions about whether you are using the right tool or platform for your digital security needs. Telegram is certainly not the most secure messaging app on the market right now. Its security model requires users to place a great deal of trust in Telegram’s ability to protect user data. For some users, this may be good enough for now. For others, it may be wiser to move to a different platform for certain kinds of high-risk communications.
