Продолжает наш проект учёный секретарь Государственного музея-заповедника имени М. А. Шолохова «Тихий Дон», кандидат культурологии, многодетная мама Лидия Слюсаренко. Она — правнучка Семёна Ивановича Громова, который много лет проработал кузнецом и конюхом у Михаила Александровича Шолохова.

Лидия Михайловна много лет работает в шолоховском музее. Для неё всё, что связано с Вёшенской и Шолоховым, это своё, родное. И дед – Константин Семёнович, и отец – Михаил Константинович – были причастны к кузнечному делу, умели лошадь подковать… Да и сама она, как истинная донская казачка, неплохо держится в седле!

At the start of 2018, the company attempted to launch an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) which would enable it to enable payments (and earn the cash that comes from doing so). The initial signals were promising, especially given Telegram’s user base is already fairly crypto-savvy. It raised an initial tranche of cash – worth more than a billion dollars – to help develop the coin before opening sales to the public. Unfortunately, third-party sales of coins bought in those initial fundraising rounds raised the ire of the SEC, which brought the hammer down on the whole operation. In 2020, officials ordered Telegram to pay a fine of $18.5 million and hand back much of the cash that it had raised. Some people used the platform to organize ahead of the storming of the U.S. Capitol in January 2021, and last month Senator Mark Warner sent a letter to Durov urging him to curb Russian information operations on Telegram. At its heart, Telegram is little more than a messaging app like WhatsApp or Signal. But it also offers open channels that enable a single user, or a group of users, to communicate with large numbers in a method similar to a Twitter account. This has proven to be both a blessing and a curse for Telegram and its users, since these channels can be used for both good and ill. Right now, as Wired reports, the app is a key way for Ukrainians to receive updates from the government during the invasion. The regulator said it had received information that messages containing stock tips and other investment advice with respect to selected listed companies are being widely circulated through websites and social media platforms such as Telegram, Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram. As such, the SC would like to remind investors to always exercise caution when evaluating investment opportunities, especially those promising unrealistically high returns with little or no risk. Investors should also never deposit money into someone’s personal bank account if instructed.
