Hi X,

Hope you are well.

Could you please share the detailed feedback with me here for all sections (coding, communication, algorithms, and data structures)? I want to learn from mistakes to become better, but first I need to figure out what I did wrong during the interview.

During the interview, I came up with an efficient solution quite fast, however, the data structure which I used, Persistent Segment Tree, is quite uncommon and complex for people without a solid competitive programming background. I explained the idea of the solution and data structure with additional drawings, everything was clear for both of us. But, yesterday I heard negative feedback regarding the algorithms and data structure part. I was quite surprised because that part objectively was good. So, don’t get me wrong, but I think the interviewer wasn’t objective. If it’s possible, I want to request another interview with a different interviewer (if possible with a great competitive programming background like Petr Mitrichev).

To support my high competence in problem-solving and data structures I would like to attach these links for my profiles.

* I’m ranked number 1 in Kazakhstan and 370 around the world on Leetcode. Millions of people use Leetcode to prepare for coding interviews.
https://leetcode.com/rtmkz/
* I got a bronze medal in the International Olympiad in Informatics. This is the most prestigious informatics olympiad in the world. The level of algorithms and data structures is extremely high compared to coding interview problems.
https://stats.ioinformatics.org/people/6857
* Top 1% on competitive programming platforms such as Codeforces and Hackerrank.

If it’s still not convincing, I can take any online coding assessment or anything you suggest.

Hope you understand. Big Thanks!

Sincerely,

Telegram | DID YOU KNOW?

Date: |

Since its launch in 2013, Telegram has grown from a simple messaging app to a broadcast network. Its user base isn’t as vast as WhatsApp’s, and its broadcast platform is a fraction the size of Twitter, but it’s nonetheless showing its use. While Telegram has been embroiled in controversy for much of its life, it has become a vital source of communication during the invasion of Ukraine. But, if all of this is new to you, let us explain, dear friends, what on Earth a Telegram is meant to be, and why you should, or should not, need to care. Oh no. There’s a certain degree of myth-making around what exactly went on, so take everything that follows lightly. Telegram was originally launched as a side project by the Durov brothers, with Nikolai handling the coding and Pavel as CEO, while both were at VK. The account, "War on Fakes," was created on February 24, the same day Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a "special military operation" and troops began invading Ukraine. The page is rife with disinformation, according to The Atlantic Council's Digital Forensic Research Lab, which studies digital extremism and published a report examining the channel. In a statement, the regulator said the search and seizure operation was carried out against seven individuals and one corporate entity at multiple locations in Ahmedabad and Bhavnagar in Gujarat, Neemuch in Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, and Mumbai. Emerson Brooking, a disinformation expert at the Atlantic Council's Digital Forensic Research Lab, said: "Back in the Wild West period of content moderation, like 2014 or 2015, maybe they could have gotten away with it, but it stands in marked contrast with how other companies run themselves today."
