تقلصت لياقتي الاجتماعية، وتلاشت روح المبادرة بداخلي، وصرت شخصًا انتقائيًا بطريقة مخيفة، اختار المواعيد التي أذهب إليها بعناية فائقة، لم يعد بإمكاني أن أن أمنح أحد دقيقة من وقتي، وليس من السهل أن أرسل لأحدهم رسالة على نحو خاص، لم يعد يعنيني أن أضع إعجابًا لأحد أو أشاهد ستوريات أي أحد، وصار كل ما أرجوه أن يقدر الناس أنني حين أختار مشاركتهم شيئًا من حياتي، أو أمد يدي لمصافحتهم أو مشاكستهم، أكون بذلك قد وضعتهم في خانة الاستثناء، واستأمنتهم على آخر ما تبقى من نبضات بداخلي..
