آدمیان ، طلبکاران مالباخته ای را مانند که در غیاب آن کس که کلاهشان را بوده ، در پوستین یکدیگر افتاده اند ، بزهکار اصلی گریخته یا از ازل ناپیدا بوده و ما معاشرِ باختگان ، آستین یکدیگر می کشیم. شدت میل و ندرت رضا ، به مصداق قلت زاد و طول طریق ، از ما تشنگانی ساخته است ، مستسقی دیگران به مددِ بختِ بختیار و یا همت بلند ، به دولت منصور رسیدند و ما دست ، دور از آن دامان ، روزه‌دارانِ حسرت‌برده بر آن خان‌و‌مان ، زیور دروغین معنا و زهد بر خود آویختیم و رقابتی خاک آلود را در انداختیم که غرب ، غرق در غربت معنویت است و ما شرقیان از غربت آن لب‌ریخته آن معنویت که می‌گویند در شرق‌ست و در غرب نیست ، اگر بود فخری نبود ، چه رسد که نیست و نبوده است. شرق فراوان تبلیغ کرده که چاره ندانستن ، جستن نیست ، نخواستن است. اما خود چه میزان این ایده را جدی گرفت؟! حتی از سرکردگان ؟! نگرفتند چون نمیشد ، بل چون : نجستن‌شان ، هیچ نبود جز جستن در پوششی دیگر »

Given the pro-privacy stance of the platform, it’s taken as a given that it’ll be used for a number of reasons, not all of them good. And Telegram has been attached to a fair few scandals related to terrorism, sexual exploitation and crime. Back in 2015, Vox described Telegram as “ISIS’ app of choice,” saying that the platform’s real use is the ability to use channels to distribute material to large groups at once. Telegram has acted to remove public channels affiliated with terrorism, but Pavel Durov reiterated that he had no business snooping on private conversations. What distinguishes the app from competitors is its use of what's known as channels: Public or private feeds of photos and videos that can be set up by one person or an organization. The channels have become popular with on-the-ground journalists, aid workers and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who broadcasts on a Telegram channel. The channels can be followed by an unlimited number of people. Unlike Facebook, Twitter and other popular social networks, there is no advertising on Telegram and the flow of information is not driven by an algorithm. In 2014, Pavel Durov fled the country after allies of the Kremlin took control of the social networking site most know just as VK. Russia's intelligence agency had asked Durov to turn over the data of anti-Kremlin protesters. Durov refused to do so. Also in the latest update is the ability for users to create a unique @username from the Settings page, providing others with an easy way to contact them via Search or their t.me/username link without sharing their phone number.
