В Ельце встретили участников патриотического автопробега «Дорогами Победы». К нам приехали парламентарии из Севастополя и Волгограда. Событие посвящено 80-летию Победы в Великой Отечественной войне.
Мы с коллегами встречаемся на автопробеге не в первый раз. Такие встречи имеют огромное значение. На фоне попыток переписать историю, исказить реальный вклад в Победу Советского Союза, изменить картину мира для нашей молодёжи, такие акции становятся важной частью сохранения исторической памяти и правды.
Автопробег соединяет Города-Герои Волгоград, Севастополь, Санкт-Петербург, Крепость-герой Брест. Отрадно, что в этом году его маршрут снова проложен через Город воинской славы Елец.
На Красной площади с гостями и ветеранами специальной военной операции провели торжественный митинг, возложили цветы к подножию стелы «Город воинской славы». Минутой молчания почтили память павших героев.
Всего участники автопробега преодолеют более трёх тысяч километров. Финальной точкой станет Брест. Всегда рады видеть друзей на липецкой земле!

During the invasion of Ukraine, Pavel Durov has wrestled with this issue a lot more prominently than he has before. Channels like Donbass Insider and Bellum Acta, as reported by Foreign Policy, started pumping out pro-Russian propaganda as the invasion began. So much so that the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council issued a statement labeling which accounts are Russian-backed. Ukrainian officials, in potential violation of the Geneva Convention, have shared imagery of dead and captured Russian soldiers on the platform. He said that since his platform does not have the capacity to check all channels, it may restrict some in Russia and Ukraine "for the duration of the conflict," but then reversed course hours later after many users complained that Telegram was an important source of information.
