Не думал, что придётся декларировать такие очевидные вещи, но всё же давайте зафиксируем. Бить нельзя не только жен и детей, но вообще никого. И никому, будь вы хоть ветеран СВО, хоть почётный донор, хоть депутат. Исключения — самозащита или спортивные единоборства с судьёй и заранее оговорёнными правилами. Если вы этого не понимаете и считаете, что «побои побоям рознь», то вы, мягко говоря, ошибаетесь.
Но есть и хорошие новости. На «Госуслугах» появился новый инструмент помощи пострадавшим от домашнего насилия. Теперь пользователи могут получить консультации через чат-бот. Глядишь, так и до законопроекта «Новых людей» о противодействии домашнему насилию дойдём.

But on Friday, Reuters reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin said there had been some “positive shifts” in talks between the two sides.
