🇪🇨🇰🇷Министерство обороны Республики Корея 8 апреля 2025 года в Пусане передало ВМС Эквадора патрульный корабль BAE Jambelí (MP56).

Прибытие корабля в Эквадор ожидается во второй половине июня 2025 года.

Корабль был подарен в рамках соглашения, подписанного двумя странами в феврале 2024 года. В составе южнокорейской береговой охраны имел наименование «TAE PYUNG YANG» (бортовой номер 3001).
