По данным источника, трансформатор в селе Мазурка Поворинского района загорелся утром 27 июня. Спустя несколько минут на месте происшествия был задержан и поджигатель - им оказался местный полицейский Андрей А. С ним работают сотрудники спецслужб.

Предварительно установлено, что задержанный находился под влиянием телефонных мошенников, которые ранее убедили его перевести им 800 тыс.рублей. В обмен на обещание вернуть эти деньги мужчину вынудили совершить противоправные действия.
