За 5 часов пламя охватило более 32 кв км. Власти предупредили жителей озера Кастаик о "непосредственной опасности для жизни", пишет Los Angeles Times.

Пожар "Хьюз" вспыхнул в 80 км к северу от Лос-Анджелеса и распространился на округ Вентура на западе и Сандберг на севере.

Стоит отметить, что пожар "Итон", который выжег 57 кв. км к востоку от Лос-Анджелеса, локализован на 91%, а пожар "Палисейдс", который уничтожил 95 кв. км в западной части Лос-Анджелеса, локализован на 68%.
