Nach Angaben der AfD hat Wolfram Weimer mindestens von 2017 bis 2019 bzw. 2020 regelmäßig Texte von Alice Weidel kopiert oder zusammengestückelt, ohne sie zu fragen, und diese dann als exklusive Autorenbeiträge der damaligen AfD-Fraktionsvorsitzenden auf seiner Seite „TheEuropean“ veröffentlicht. Und das nicht nur einmal, sondern bis zu einhundert Mal!
Das Büro von Weidel teilte dem Journalisten Alexander Wallasch auf Anfrage mit: „Weder hat Alice Weidel je als Autorin für die Plattform ,TheEuropean‘ geschrieben, noch wurde sie über die Nennung als Autorin informiert oder um entsprechende Freigabe dieser Veröffentlichungen gebeten.“
