Знаменитое полотно Ильи Репина «Иван Грозный и сын его Иван» вернулось в постоянную экспозицию Третьяковской галереи

Восстановленный шедевр представили на фокус-выставке, которая показывает этапы реставрации и историю создания полотна. Произведение надежно защищено: теперь оно экспонируется в специально сконструированной климатической антивандальной капсуле.

Напомню, картина пострадала после нападения на нее в 2018 году и несколько лет находилась на реставрации. Полотно спасали одни из лучших реставраторов страны. Работу необходимо было выполнить ювелирно. Для этого было изготовлено уникальное оборудование, не имеющее аналогов в мире. Специалистам удалось не только восполнить потери, но и открыть подлинные цвета, утраченные со временем.

Благодаря кропотливому труду профессионалов посетители Третьяковской галереи сегодня вновь могут увидеть вживую знаковую картину великого русского художника, обладающую невероятной силой художественного воздействия.
