Филиал Центра «ВОИН» в Бурятии помог проведению туристического слёта школьников

Мероприятие состоялось 17 мая в местности Уточкина падь Иволинского района. Состязались учащиеся школ села Сотниково, возраста от 14 до 16 лет. Упражнения включали преодоление водных преград, вязание узлов, метание ножа, стрельбу из пневматического оружия, оказание первой помощи и эвакуацию раненого.

Мероприятие, посвящённое Году Защитника Отечества, проводило окружное казачье общество «Верхнеудинское» совместно с рядом других организаций. Региональный филиал Центра «ВОИН» выступил партнёром мероприятия, предоставив необходимое оборудование, также инструкторы филиала помогали проводить этапы состязаний.

Telegram has become more interventionist over time, and has steadily increased its efforts to shut down these accounts. But this has also meant that the company has also engaged with lawmakers more generally, although it maintains that it doesn’t do so willingly. Telegram does offer end-to-end encrypted communications through Secret Chats, but this is not the default setting. Standard conversations use the MTProto method, enabling server-client encryption but with them stored on the server for ease-of-access. This makes using Telegram across multiple devices simple, but also means that the regular Telegram chats you’re having with folks are not as secure as you may believe. The company maintains that it cannot act against individual or group chats, which are “private amongst their participants,” but it will respond to requests in relation to sticker sets, channels and bots which are publicly available. During the invasion of Ukraine, Pavel Durov has wrestled with this issue a lot more prominently than he has before. Channels like Donbass Insider and Bellum Acta, as reported by Foreign Policy, started pumping out pro-Russian propaganda as the invasion began. So much so that the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council issued a statement labeling which accounts are Russian-backed. Ukrainian officials, in potential violation of the Geneva Convention, have shared imagery of dead and captured Russian soldiers on the platform. Just days after Russia invaded Ukraine, Durov wrote that Telegram was "increasingly becoming a source of unverified information," and he worried about the app being used to "incite ethnic hatred." Russians and Ukrainians are both prolific users of Telegram. They rely on the app for channels that act as newsfeeds, group chats (both public and private), and one-to-one communication. Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Telegram has remained an important lifeline for both Russians and Ukrainians, as a way of staying aware of the latest news and keeping in touch with loved ones.
