За последние двое суток (19 - 20 мая) высота снежного покрова в селе Аян, что расположено на полуострове Нонгдар-Неготни, на берегу одноимённой природной бухты Охотского моря, выросла на 27 см и достигла отметки в 81 см.
Местные жители крайне удивлены, и с трудом вспоминают такую снежную бурю в мае. По данным метеорологических архивов - это самым высокий снежный покров в мае за последние 10 лет - столько же снега было 2-3 мая 2015 года.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics' February Consumer Price Index (CPI) this week showed another surge in prices even before Russia escalated its attacks in Ukraine. The headline CPI — soaring 7.9% over last year — underscored the sticky inflationary pressures reverberating across the U.S. economy, with everything from groceries to rents and airline fares getting more expensive for everyday consumers. Friday’s performance was part of a larger shift. For the week, the Dow, S&P 500 and Nasdaq fell 2%, 2.9%, and 3.5%, respectively. In a message on his Telegram channel recently recounting the episode, Durov wrote: "I lost my company and my home, but would do it again – without hesitation."
