والابتلاء في سبيل الحق ليس كالابتلاء القدري الذي يحصل بغير اختيار كالمرض والفاقة ونحو ذلك.. فمن ابتلي لأجل دينه كانت منزلته أرفع، وكلما عظم مقام العبد في الدين كان ابتلاؤه أعظم.
قال ﷺ : (يُبتلى الرجلُ على حسبِ دِينه، فإن كان في دينه صلابة زِيد في بلائه) ..
