Премьер-министр ПНЕ Абдул Хамид Дабейба провёл встречу в Триполи с главой генштаба ВС Турции Метином Гюраком, на которой стороны обсудили военное сотрудничество двух стран, в том числе программы подготовки и совместные военные учения.

Гюрак также передал послание президента Турции Реджепа Тайипа Эрдогана, в котором турецкий лидер заявил о историческом характере турецко-ливийских отношений, а также заявил о необходимости продолжать их развитие во всех сферах, особо выделив военное сотрудничество.
