After disagreements with Matt Koehl, William Luther Pierce left the NSWPP in 1970 and joined the National Youth Alliance. In 1974 the NYA was reorganized into the National Alliance.
The NA seeked to gather a vanguard of the movement. Instead of hobbyism, the National Alliance focused on creating a network of capable minds.
By the 2000s, the NA had over 2,500 members, 17 full time paid staffers, a million dollar record label and a physical HQ building.
In 2002 WLP passed away and ex-boxer (known as the Aryan Barbarian) Erich Gliebe was elected chairman. Disagreements brew and after a boycott of Gliebes "führerprinzip" Gleibe appointed Shaun Walker as the new chairman in 2005. After a year Gliebe returned as chairman.
NA laid dormant until 2014 when Gliebe resigned and gave the NA to veteran William White Williams. National Vanguard, a splintergroup led by Kevin Alfred Strom rejoined the NA at the same time.

Ukrainian officials, in potential violation of the Geneva Convention, have shared imagery of dead and captured Russian soldiers on the platform. These administrators had built substantial positions in these scrips prior to the circulation of recommendations and offloaded their positions subsequent to rise in price of these scrips, making significant profits at the expense of unsuspecting investors, Sebi noted. "Someone posing as a Ukrainian citizen just joins the chat and starts spreading misinformation, or gathers data, like the location of shelters," Tsekhanovska said, noting how false messages have urged Ukrainians to turn off their phones at a specific time of night, citing cybersafety.
