По словам главы кабинета министров, Брюссель пообещал перевести киевскому правительству 9 миллиардов евро. Решение было принято еще в мае, однако к сегодняшнему дню Украина получила лишь 3 миллиарда.
«Нам (Украине) это нужно для того, чтобы наша финансовая система выжила. Мы уже исчерпали все возможности экономии», — заявил политик.
Премьер-министр добавил, что большую часть финансовой помощи распределяют на удовлетворение социальных нужд. Как он указал, любая задержка чревата «ужасными последствиями». При этом худшее из них — невыплата пособий и зарплат.
