The title could be about a weighted blanket, or a comfy hoodie, but it's not. It is actually about the event I was lucky enough to be invited to.
It still bogs my mind just how cozy I felt in a completely new city with almost all unknown people (I was extremely fortunate to meet Asiya, who we attended a speaking club with, IRL 🩷 and of course I knew Liliya Ayatskova, the soul and the leader of the team 🧡).
Even though I am not taking about blankets (I kind of am actually LOL), throughout the whole event I felt as though I was wrapped snuggly into one, sitting in my rocking chair with a cup of tea.
And it's all because of the people (organizers, speakers and anybody and everybody I managed to talk to) and the ambience they created ☀️
So, the perfect ratio for me is 1 cozy ELT-event/50 or so amazing people.
I am definitely coming back to Voronezh.

The War on Fakes channel has repeatedly attempted to push conspiracies that footage from Ukraine is somehow being falsified. One post on the channel from February 24 claimed without evidence that a widely viewed photo of a Ukrainian woman injured in an airstrike in the city of Chuhuiv was doctored and that the woman was seen in a different photo days later without injuries. The post, which has over 600,000 views, also baselessly claimed that the woman's blood was actually makeup or grape juice. "This time we received the coordinates of enemy vehicles marked 'V' in Kyiv region," it added.
