ИВАН ПЕТРОВИЧ СКОРИКОВ

Родился в 1906 году в Красном Яру (ныне Волгоградская область). До войны руководил колхозом, ездил лично к Калинину, чтобы спасти селян от голода 1933 гг. Во время войны лейтенантом сражался за Сталинград, в составе 244 стрелковой дивизии форсировал Днепр. Погиб 21 ноября 1943 на острове Хортица, похоронен в братской могиле в Запорожье. На плите мемориала «Скорбящая мать» высечено его имя.

АЛЕКСАНДР МИХАЙЛОВИЧ АФАНАСЬЕВ.
1927 г.р., уроженец села Терновка (ныне Саратовская область), ветеран ВОВ, участник Русско-японской войны 1945 г., после войны еще 6 лет продолжал служить срочную в Порт-Артуре. Работал на Урале и в Городе-Герое Волгограде.
Дожил до правнуков.

Прадед и дед координатора РУССКОГО СОЮЗА политолога Ивана Ивановича Скорикова.
