The video, which has amassed almost 30,000 views, offered a "how-to" spot misinformation. These administrators had built substantial positions in these scrips prior to the circulation of recommendations and offloaded their positions subsequent to rise in price of these scrips, making significant profits at the expense of unsuspecting investors, Sebi noted. A Russian Telegram channel with over 700,000 followers is spreading disinformation about Russia's invasion of Ukraine under the guise of providing "objective information" and fact-checking fake news. In view of this, the regulator has cautioned investors not to rely on such investment tips / advice received through social media platforms.
