28 ноября 1966 года в Колпашевском районе (Томская обл.) произошло большое несчастье: вероятно, пытаясь сократить путь из пос. Затон в г. Колпашево, водитель автобуса ПАЗ-652 решил пересечь реку Обь, которую уже сковал лёд. Однако это решение повлекло за собой провал машины под лёд. В трагедии погибли 24 (25) человек - ученики местной школы, а также училищ, направлявшиеся на учебы. Водителю же и еще 24 пассажирам удалось спастись.
