В День Победы в Рязани проходят торжественные мероприятия и концерты. По традиции утро 9 мая началось с митинга и возложения Гирлянды памяти и цветов к мемориалу и Вечному огню на площади Победы. К рязанцам присоединились делегации городов-побратимов Алессандрии, Генуи и Бреста и представители Тихоокеанского флота РФ. Перед монументом Победы развернули 300-метровую Георгиевскую ленту, символизирующую мужество и героизм воинов, освободивших страну.
Возложения цветов и праздничные мероприятия проходят во всех микрорайонах Рязани. Префектурой Солотчи организовано шествие «Бессмертного полка», состоялись показательные выступления десантников, работала полевая кухня.
День Победы объединяет людей всех возрастов и национальностей. Мы помним наших героических предков, гордимся нашей славной историей!
