Ему было 87 лет. Более 60 из них посвятил разработке и поддержанию ядерного потенциала нашей страны. Уникальный человек - автор более 550 научных трудов и соавтор 13 патентов и свидетельств на изобретения. Также Радий Иванович внес крупный вклад в развитие Сарова как одного из духовных центров России.
