⚡️On the UAF shellings of the dam at the Kakhovka HPP
❗️Information that the Ukrainian military had been laying mines at the dam and hydraulic structures at the Kakhovka HPP was first published on 15 September 2014
🇷🇺 The Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant came under the control of the Russian military on 24 February 2022. While retreating, Ukrainian sappers mined the floodgates mechanisms of the North Crimean Canal. Their explosion was avoided. In the summer of 2022, the UAF began regular shelling

🔴 These systematic UFA attacks on the HPP have led to the destruction of its structures and an uncontrolled release of water from the Kakhovka reservoir down the Dnieper River, which began on 6 June 2023
