Во время эксперимента Spot отправили на хлопковое поле, где роботу поручили обнаружить сорняки подсолнечника и амброзии. В пяти испытаниях робот справился с этим.
Заряда батареи пока хватает только на 40 минут работы. Управлять роботом можно вручную или через пульт. Кроме того, он способен передвигаться автономно по заранее составленным маршрутам.
