گروه تهدیدات سایبری ایرانی معروف به MuddyWater به سنت و شیوه همیشگی آزمایش شده خود در تکیه بر ابزار‌های قانونی مدیریت از راه دور برای مدیریت سیستم‌های هدف و قربانی‌ها ادامه می‌دهد. بنا بر ادعا‌ها، در‌حالی‌که این گروه قبلا از ScreenConnect، RemoteUtilities و Syncro استفاده کرده است، یک تحلیل جدید که توسط Group-IB انجام شده، استفاده این گروه از نرم‌افزار پشتیبانی از راه دور SimpleHelp در ماه ژوئن ٢٠٢٢ را نشان می‌دهد. به نقل از این گزارش، گروه MuddyWater که حداقل از سال ٢٠١٧ فعال است، به‌عنوان یک عنصر زیرمجموعه در وزارت اطلاعات و امنیت جمهوری اسلامی (MOIS) ارزیابی می‌شود. برخی از اهداف اصلی این گروه عبارتند از ترکیه، پاکستان، امارات متحده عربی، عراق، اسرائیل، عربستان سعودی، اردن، ایالات متحده آمریکا، آذربایجان و افغانستان.

Apparently upbeat developments in Russia's discussions with Ukraine helped at least temporarily send investors back into risk assets. What distinguishes the app from competitors is its use of what's known as channels: Public or private feeds of photos and videos that can be set up by one person or an organization. The channels have become popular with on-the-ground journalists, aid workers and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who broadcasts on a Telegram channel. The channels can be followed by an unlimited number of people. Unlike Facebook, Twitter and other popular social networks, there is no advertising on Telegram and the flow of information is not driven by an algorithm. In February 2014, the Ukrainian people ousted pro-Russian president Viktor Yanukovych, prompting Russia to invade and annex the Crimean peninsula. By the start of April, Pavel Durov had given his notice, with TechCrunch saying at the time that the CEO had resisted pressure to suppress pages criticizing the Russian government. "For Telegram, accountability has always been a problem, which is why it was so popular even before the full-scale war with far-right extremists and terrorists from all over the world," she told AFP from her safe house outside the Ukrainian capital.
