كنت قد اطلعت على الثبت الذي سكّه المسيري في نهاية موسوعته، وقارنته بهذا العمل المبارك؛ وإذا به يتجاوزه وبجدارة، لشموله وتفصيله معًا، وجمعه للفترة الذهبية -التي لم يجمعها المسيري- التي كانت بعد صدور الموسوعة (١٩٩٩م)، وحتى ارتقاء علّامتنا إلى الرفيق الأعلى (٢٠٠٨م)، وهي مرحلة الثمر في عمر أستاذنا -تقبله الله في عليين-، وأكثرها نشاطًا وإنتاجًا، سواءً على المستوى الفكري، أو حتى النضالي والإعلامي.
وعليه: كان مجموع ما أنتجه -من كتب وأوراق ومقالات- في آخر ٨ سنوات من عمره العريض؛ قد تجاوز ما تم إنتاجه قبل (١٩٩٩م). وهنا تكمن أهمية هذا الثبت للباحثين والدارسين، وأهل التأريخ والتحقيق.
