Живу в Петербурге. Очень люблю свой город. Но просто ненавижу, когда его называют Питером. Ну что за неуважение... Не называют же, например, Самару самкой, или Москву — моськой. Так почему же все считают нужным сократить название именно этого величественного и прекрасного города. При знакомстве с людьми, когда спрашивают, откуда я, всегда специально говорю: "Из Петербурга". А в ответ слышу: "Ааа, из Питера". Бесите!
