این نشریه در سال ۱۹۶۴ به ابتکار پستونجی واردن، پزشک و بازرگان زرتشتی، در بمبئی آغاز به کار کرد و از سال ۱۹۷۳ تحت مدیریت جهانگیر پاتل به یکی از رسانههای جدی جامعه پارسیان تبدیل شد.
